Crypto Café & Bar, operated by Digital Architecture Lab (hereinafter: DA Lab), is a daytime co-working space with a nighttime vibing to enjoy the end of your day.
Clubs provide the functions necessary for this initiative. The infrastructure delivered comprises membership spaces, ticket sales, and communication features to create a fully functioning DAO.
Most business-oriented people will relate the NFT memberships of a physical store as a brilliant marketing strategy to engage and make loyal customers. However, the underlying idea of Crypto Café & Bar is more powerful. It does not only allow members to have the in-store benefits of a physical cafeteria but also grants them the right to participate in decisions such as product design, events, and any other the web3 community seems appropriate. Everything is managed through Clubs, the same place where members bought its Crypto Café & Bar’s NFT.
The Chief Architect of DA Lab, Joichi Ito, expressed: *“DAOs are the next evolution of ***organizational entities, and Japan is currently at the forefront of legal adoption with the DAO law now open for public comment. It is crucial for us to explore, and experience use cases to better understand the opportunities and pitfalls for society, and the Crypto Bar serves as an exemplary venue for both experimentation and practical use cases in this evolving field”.
For this implementation, Clubs developed "Clubs Payments" adopting VeriTrans4G, a multi-payment service provided by DG Financial Technology Inc. Besides membership sales in crypto assets, the system supports Credit Card (CC) sales with fiat money. The latter was a feature requested by the business needs of our community.
After purchasing a membership in advance on Crypto Café & Bar ****Club, members can display the NFT ticket on their smartphones to enter the facility. This ensures a smooth experience and avoids the burden of on-site payments.
